This Lory State Park couples photo session is the embodiment of what I mean when I say you should personalize your session and make your photos unique to your relationship. Something Jordin and Sage told me before we met was, “We are just best friends through and through. Laughing together, adventuring, and having the same hobbies. But at the end of the day we are just each other’s favorite person and make each other laugh.” It was so easy to feel those words and the radiating love these two have for one another during our time together. Keep reading to see how we incorporated their hobbies and joy and appreciation for the outdoors into photos that feel like them!
Jordin and Sage are the kind of couple whose connection feels both effortless and electric, a perfect blend of best friends and partners-in-adventure. They’ve been together since May 30, 2020, and have built a relationship rooted in laughter, shared passions, and an undeniable sense of fun. Whether they’re out hiking or biking the Colorado trails, reminiscing on their unforgettable trip to Seville, or cooking up something delicious, Jordin and Sage find joy in each other’s company. They’re each other’s safe haven and ultimate source of belly laughs—especially when Sage is cracking jokes, claiming the title of the funnier half.
For their session at Lory State Park, Jordin and Sage wanted to capture this season of joy, adventure, and deep love. Their lighthearted approach to life and love shines through in every photo, a testament to their vibrant spirits and the playful, supportive bond they share.
A couples session is all about capturing the fun you have together. For Jordin and Sage, their shoot centered around mountain biking, one of their favorite outdoor activities, and enjoying pizza from their go-to spot – Rosalee’s. The result was a perfect reflection of their playful, easy-going love.
Dressed in casual clothes for comfort and movement, they brought their mountain bikes to ride the trails and afterward enjoyed their favorite pizza and beer. We finished the session by walking the trails and enjoying the sunset. It was all about doing what they love and having a blast while doing it.
Lory State Park was the ideal location for their session, offering stunning views, open space, and great mountain biking trails to bring their vision to life. If you’re envisioning a couples session that captures some of your favorite outdoor activities – this might be the place for you, let’s chat and plan something unforgettable!
Jordin and Sage did an amazing job of dressing comfortably so they could move around and bike during their session, while also still showcasing their style and personalities through their outfits. If you’ve ever heard of the brand Ripton, based in Boulder, Colorado, they are known for their “performance denim” – both Jordin and Sage wore pants/shorts from the company for their session and it was such a vibe! Their combined earthy and neutral tones complemented each other and stood out among the red rock and greenery of Lory State Park.
