This venue offers year round outdoor activities to experience on your wedding day, including canoeing on the private lake on property. One of my favorite parts is that it offers the luxury you want on your wedding day while being surrounded by nature in the middle of the backcountry beneath the Palmyra Peak and Silver Peaks of the San Juan Mountains.

#5. A-Frame Club

The A-Frame Club is a mountain lodge with all the retro 70’s Scandinavian vibes located at the base of Winter Park Resort in Winter Park, Colorado. The design is heavily influenced by 70’s ski culture and Après-Ski. I’m obsessed with this place down to every last detail! Although I’m already married, this place makes me want to do my wedding day all again haha.

The property has 31 A-frame cabins which are available for a full buyout for your wedding day. Not only can your entire wedding party, family, and friends stay on property, but there’s a historic saloon, and a wood fire restaurant on site.

This would be such a fun, vibrant wedding venue for couples looking to get married in the winter! You can spend the wedding weekend relaxing by the fire after skiing on the mountains before saying “I do” to the love of your life!

Address: 1008 Winter Park Dr, Winter Park, CO 80482

#6. The Wyman Hotel

The Wyman Hotel is boutique hotel located on main street in Silverton, Colorado. This historic 1902 Wyman building is a landmark that’s the perfect mix of luxury and wild west charm.

In addition to the hotel itself, Silverton is one of the best mountain towns in Colorado and is the perfect destination wedding location in Colorado. Located in the heart of the San Juans, there’s so much natural beauty in the mountains surrounding the town.

Whether you want to have your ceremony off-site in the mountains or on the hotel property, your micro wedding will be filled with beauty!

#7. Treehaus

Treehaus is a super unique tree house venue located near Nederland, Colorado. This wooden venue truly is a small wedding venue with a max of 20 people if you plan to host both your ceremony and reception on-site.

One of my favorite things is that have a vintage airstream for the couple to stay in or get ready in on their wedding day. Also, this venue is dog friendly! The Treehaus is a funky space for couples who love the outdoors, but have a little less traditional and more edgy style!

Venue Capacity: 20 people (40 people for ceremony only but reception must be off-site)

Address: 35 Travis Draw, Black Hawk, CO 80422

#8. Maroon Bells Amphitheater

Maroon Bells Amphitheater is one of the most photographed places in Colorado, and it’s no surprise why! This is only a ceremony location, you cannot host your reception here (but there are venues close by in Aspen!).

The best time of year to get married here is June to September due to weather conditions. In the winter, there’s no vehicle access due to avalanche danger.

In order to get married here, you need to apply for a permit but it’s only $200! You can apply for the permit up to one year in advance online here. But be warned this is a VERY popular wedding location in Colorado and permits go very quickly!

Venue Capacity: 50 people

Address: 590 N Mill St, Aspen, CO 81611

Not only is the property beautiful but it’s close by to a few different Colorado State Parks (Cheyenne Mountain State Park, Mueller State Park, Red Rocks State Park, Garden of the Gods, & more!). So you can choose to have either your ceremony or wedding photos off-site before heading back to the cabin for your cocktail hour and reception!
